The American Infertility Association (AFA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 to support people trying to conceive, transform the lives of individuals and couples faced with reproductive difficulties and raise awareness around sexual and reproductive health and wellness.
Many of you know that coping with infertility is extremely difficult and challenging. The AFA offers a support system for families and its services are free to all consumers. From a support line to extensive online resources designed to help individual and couples experiencing infertility, the AFA is here to help.
Now, East Coast Fertility and the AFA are asking for your help! Won’t you join us for the 1st Annual “Long Island Walk for Infertility”? 100% of all proceeds will support services and educational programs both in the New York area as well as nationwide.
There will be a $20 Registration fee per Walker/Runner (kids 12 and under walk free), plus a $6.00 parking fee per vehicle. The parking fee goes to the State Park and is non-refundable. T-shirts will be given to the first 500 registrants. We encourage you to seek additional sponsorships to further our cause.
